John R. Cash (created J. R. Cash; Feb 26, 1932 – Sept 12, 2003) was an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, acting professional, and author. He’s one of the best-selling artists ever, having sold more than 90 million files worldwide. Although mostly appreciated as a country music icon, his genre-spanning sounds and audio embraced stone, rockabilly, blues, folk, and gospel. This crossover charm earned Cash the exceptional honor to be inducted in to the Country Music, Stone, and Gospel Music Halls of Popularity.
Cash was known for his profound, calm bass-baritone tone of voice; the distinctive audio of his Tennessee 3 backing group, which is seen as a train-sound acoustic guitar rhythms; a rebelliousness in conjunction with an extremely somber and humble demeanor; free jail concerts; and a hallmark, all-black stage attire, which attained him the nickname “THE PERSON in African american.” He customarily started out his concerts simply by adding himself, “Hello, I’m Johnny Cash,” accompanied by his signature melody “Folsom Jail Blues”.
A lot of Cash’s music covered styles of sorrow, moral tribulation, and redemption, especially in the later phases of his job. His other personal melodies include “I Walk the Line”, “Ring of Fire”, “Get Rhythm”, and “Man in Black”. He also saved humorous amounts like “One Part at the same time” and “A Son Named Sue”; a duet along with his future partner, June Carter, called “Jackson” (accompanied by many further duets after their matrimony); and railroad sounds including “Hey, Porter”, “Orange Blossom Special”, and “Rock Island Line”. Over the last level of his job, Cash covered tunes by several overdue 20th-century rock performers, notably “Hurt” by Nine Inches Nails and “Personal Jesus” by Depeche Mode.

The YouTube Awards (sometimes called the YouTube Video Awards) was a promotion run by the website YouTube to recognize the best user-generated videos of the year. The awards were presented twice, in 2007 and 2008, with winners being voted for by the site’s users from shortlists compiled by YouTube staff. YouTube was launched on February 14, 2005, and quickly began to grow – by July 2006, traffic to the site had increased by 297 percent, almost four times over. As a result of this success, in March 2007 YouTube launched their own awards promotion to honor some of the site’s best videos. Seven shortlists were compiled, with ten videos per shortlist. Users were invited to vote for the winners over a five-day period at a dedicated webpage. Singer Damian Kulash, whose band OK Go won in the Most Creative category for their music video Here It Goes Again, said that receiving a YouTube Award was a surreal honor and that the site was changing culture quickly and completely.
The YouTube Awards returned the following year, to commemorate the best videos of 2007. This year, the number of categories was expanded from seven to twelve, while the number of videos per shortlist was reduced from ten each to just six. Critics noted that unlikely newcomers, such as Battle at Kruger and Stop the Clash of Civilizations by Avaaz, had triumphed over more established videos, such as I Got a Crush…On Obama and Leave Britney Alone! Reaction to the YouTube Awards was generally negative. In 2007, commentators questioned why a promotion to recognize the best videos of 2006 was occurring so late into the year, and contrasted the awards with the similar Vloggies. Attention was also drawn to the timing of the 2007 awards: five days after media conglomerate Viacom had filed a $1 billion lawsuit against YouTube for copyright infringement. Technology evangelist Don Dodge suggested that the awards were an attempt by YouTube to highlight content on their website that did not violate copyrights before the case went to trial.

The Nine Network (commonly known as Channel Nine or simply Nine) is a major Australian commercial free-to-air television network, that is a division of Nine Entertainment Co. with headquarters in Willoughby, a suburb located on the North Shore of Sydney, Australia. The Nine Network is one of three main free-to-air commercial networks in Australia.
The Nine Network is one of the two highest-rating television networks in Australia, along with the Seven Network and ahead of Network Ten, ABC, and SBS. Nine had historically been the highest-rating television network since television’s inception in Australia in 1956 for most years up to 2006, although Network Ten had dominated in 1985 and for a number of years in the 1970s. The Nine Network was overtaken in the ratings in 2007 by its rival, the Seven Network, which had previously dominated from the late 1980s to the mid 1990s. As a result, Nine’s slogan “Still the One” was discontinued. Since 2017, the network’s slogan has been “We Are the One”.
After a few years in slight decline, with a period plagued by mass sackings, programme cancellations, and budget cuts, the Nine Network has experienced a period of stability. With the exception of Friday nights, Nine has recently dominated weeknights, in terms of ratings. Similar to the Network itself, in some respects, after years of slight decline in ratings, Nine’s news program, National Nine News, has seen the return to being the most watched news program in metro areas. In 2016, Nine had the largest share of audience according to the ozTAM ratings system, a share of 20.7%. This was higher than the other two major networks, and SBS and the ABC.

Criticism of Facebook relates to how Facebook’s market dominance have led to international media coverage and significant reporting of its shortcomings. Notable issues include Internet privacy, such as its use of a widespread “like” button on third-party websites tracking users, possible indefinite records of user information, automatic facial recognition software, and its role in the workplace, including employer-employee account disclosure. The use of Facebook can have psychological effects, including feelings of jealousy and stress, a lack of attention, and social media addiction, in some cases comparable to drug addiction.Facebook’s company tactics have also received prominent coverage, including electricity usage, tax avoidance, real-name user requirement policies, censorship, and its involvement in the United States PRISM surveillance program.Due to allowing users to publish material by themselves, Facebook has come under scrutiny for the amount of freedom it gives users, including copyright and intellectual property infringement, hate speech, incitement of rape and terrorism, fake news, Facebook murder, crimes and violent incidents live-streamed through its Facebook Live functionality.Facebook has been banned by several governments, including Syria, China, and Iran. The company has also been subject to multiple litigation cases over the years, with its most prominent case concerning allegations that CEO Mark Zuckerberg broke an oral contract with Cameron Winklevoss, Tyler Winklevoss, and Divya Narendra to build the then-named “HarvardConnection” social network in 2004, instead allegedly opting to steal the idea and code to launch Facebook months before HarvardConnection began. The original lawsuit was eventually settled in 2009, with Facebook paying approximately $20 million in cash and 1.25 million shares. A new lawsuit in 2011 was dismissed. Some critics make predictions of Facebook’s end based on the problems which they identify.
