TRAFFIC, the Animals Trade Monitoring Network, is the leading non-governmental company working internationally on the trade of wildlife and crops in the framework of both biodiversity and ecological development. It had been founded in 1976 as a proper alliance of the WORLDWIDE Fund for Mother nature (WWF) and the International Union for the Conservation of Dynamics (IUCN).
The organization’s purpose is to ‘ensure that trade in untamed plants and pets or animals is not really a risk to the conservation of aspect’.
